Just as it is the responsibility of York Container Company to provide a safe work environment, it is the responsibility of each employee to follow established safety rules and policies, to know the proper safe operation of equipment, to encourage coworkers to work in a safe manner, and to use good judgment and common sense when performing their job duties. It is also a critical responsibility of employees to report unsafe conditions and work practices that may occur to the management team.

York Container Company has a Safety & Health Committee to promote safe work habits, review operations, and provide employees a resource to address safety & health concerns. We encourage all employees to get involved! The Safety & Health Committee meets monthly and all employees and ideas are welcome!
