Jr. Electrician (Third Shift)

The junior electrician will handle basic troubleshooting and repairs to keep equipment running and minimize downtime while supporting all other members of the maintenance group with any other repairs, projects, etc. deemed necessary by the department manager.

Essential Job Functions
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Test and replace fuses.
  • Test and replace solenoids.
  • Test and replace contactors / relays.
  • Reset and replace breakers / motor starters.
  • Adjust and replace photo eyes.
  • Basic conduit runs, wire pulls, and wire terminations.
  • Basic pneumatic and hydraulic system repairs.
  • Able to work with single phase / 3 phase / 110V, 240V, 277V, 480V, and 24V control systems.
  • Able to work with Volt Meter/Amp Meter to troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Able to read schematics/blue prints to troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Assist with electrical PM as needed.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
Other Functions
  • Assist in switchboard as necessary.
  • Cross train on other accounting positions and assist with covering these duties when others in the accounting deptartment are out.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ industrial electrical experience.
  • A valid, current driver’s license preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with contractors, service techs (onsite/phone support), and fellow employees.
  • Understands various aspects of an industrial facility including structural, electrical, plumbing systems, etc.
  • Ability to work additional hours and weekends as necessary to meet business plan objectives.
  • Knowledge of PLC’s and Drives is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & Word is a plus.
  • Must be willing to attend various trainings to improve plant operations / skill sets.
  • Ability to use voltmeter, conduit benders, assortment of hand and small power tools, computer, basic office equipment, tow motor, etc.
Working Conditions
Manufacturing environment working around machinery, moving equipment, and loud noise (hearing protection required), Environment is not climate controlled and there is exposure to a wide range of temperatures (temperature varies depending on work/machine location and ranges from 50 degree F to 100 degree F), Possibility of outside work in all types of weather conditions (including heat, cold, rain, and snow).

KBA Assistant Operator

Assist the operator in the setup and running of the KBA machine, with a focus on time saving practices to limit downtime and setup times. Ensure a quality product is being released to our customers.

Essential Job Functions
  • Must possess sense of urgency in fast-paced environment, while working safely.
  • Limit scrap waste.
  • Deliver scrap waste to proper department when scrap truck is full, and accurately tag for waste reporting.
  • Collect top and bottom sheets (dunnage) to expedite converting process.
  • Pack products for shipment as specified for individual orders.
  • Learn and practice good lock out/ tag out procedures.
  • Follow reporting processes for accurate completion of production paperwork and CTI/HRMS.
  • Hang print plates, mount die boards and handle ink.
  • Read and understand production order copy for every production run, and assist operator in ensuring quality (includes basic corrugated terminology).
  • Understand machine mechanical functionality, and conduct in depth cleaning of press when scheduled .
Other Functions
  • Run press in case of operator unavailability.
  • Work overtime as production needs require.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ corrugated experience or related manufacturing industry preferred.
Ability to use tape measurer, computers (for reporting purposes), print and cutting dies, machine related devices (both computerized and manual mechanical devices), box cutters, and substrate (corrugated stock)
Working Conditions
Manufacturing environment; Not temperature controlled - hot in summer and cold in winter (will need to dress appropriately). No jewelry or baggy clothes due to safety. YCC is a hearing protected facility, and ear protection (PPE’s) is required at all times when in the plant.

Electrician Technician (2nd Shift)

  • Proficient with electrical troubleshooting and repairs
    • Test and replace fuses
    • Test and replace solenoids
    • Test and replace contactors / relays
    • Test and replace proximity / limit switches
    • Reset and replace breakers / motor starters
    • Adjust and replace photo eyes
    • Able to make conduit runs, wire pulls, and wire terminations
    • Proficient in performing pneumatic and hydraulic system repairs
    • Proficient working with single phase / 3 phase / 110V, 240V, 277V, 480V, and 24V control systems
    • Able to work with Volt Meter/Amp Meter to troubleshoot electrical systems
    • Proficient reading schematics/blue prints to troubleshoot electrical systems
    • Able to troubleshoot AC / DC control circuits
    • Able to troubleshoot motors and drives, then replace if needed
    • Proficient at troubleshooting PLC’s and ladder logic
    • Able to cross reference and change out electrical devices with other brands
    • Able to troubleshoot by phone while communicating with other maintenance personnel or machine techs
    • Able to circumvent problems and find ways to keep machines running
    • Able to perform project work with little supervision
    • Able to communicate and problem solve with foreign and domestic techs by phone and online support
    • Perform electrical building maintenance
    • Assist with electrical PM as needed
  • Proficient with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs

  • Comfortable working independently
